What data we process
The website does not store form data: the retailer request is prepared in your email program and reaches us as an ordinary email, with the details you choose to send (name, company, contact details, message). Providing them is optional, but without a contact we cannot reply. The service hosting the website records technical browsing data (such as the IP address) for security and operation.
Cookies and statistics
The website uses no cookies and no statistics tools. Fonts and images come from our own website, not from third-party services. The Instagram link leads to an external website, which has its own privacy notice.
Legal basis and retention
We process the data you send us to answer your request and for the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take (art. 6.1.b of EU Regulation 2016/679), and technical data for our legitimate interest in the security of the website (art. 6.1.f). We keep the former for as long as needed to handle the request and the business relationship and to meet legal obligations, and the latter for the period set by the service hosting the website.
Who receives the data
The data is processed by our staff and by the providers of the technical services we use: Aruba S.p.A. for email and Vercel Inc. (United States) for website hosting. For data processed outside the European Union, the safeguards set by the Regulation apply (arts. 44-49). We do not sell the data or use it for automated decisions.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, by writing to info@velasportitalia.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
